The Hawthorne Townhomes is an infill development that is reinventing over 17 acres of a previous CMU block manufacturing facility into a neighborhood of 56 townhome buildings. The clubhouse and leasing office buildings are clad with CMU veneer, giving a subtle nod to the previous use on the site, and incorporate steep traditional rooflines giving grand proportions to the interior public spaces.  The site design groups the 2 and 3 story townhome buildings around greenways and pocket parks, providing residents with access to community green space and multiple site amenities.  Each townhome is flooded with natural light through large windows, and all bedrooms were designed with vaulted ceilings.  Interior finishes are reflect the exterior and incorporate clean lines with warm and natural toned materials. The architecture of the townhomes and amenity buildings is contemporary in detail but classic in form, ensuring that the project will have a lasting presence.
